| Constance Eyre |
Constance Eyre became involved in the fashion industry as a model after being discovered by the late great Isabella Blow. But she soon decided that it was designing she really loved after she bought herself an old knitting machine, which she taught herself to use. She launched her own knitwear label, 'Constance Eyre' in 2002 after designing knitwear for Elspeth Gibson for two seasons. Her inspiration is taken from the ever increasing collection of vintage knitting patterns she has collected over the years,
particularly from the 1920's to 1940's, and designers such as Elsa Schiaparelli and Poiret. Her pieces are all knitted in the UK. For enquiries contact ConstanceEyre@rousiland.com |
